We stayed at a cabin, one step above camping. These cabins need upgrading. The access to the lodge and cabins is only via Rt 87 and 89 both rather treacherous sinuous narrow roads with no shoulders and big drop offs, scary in the dark. The Lodge has a very nice setting looking over Sylvan Lake. However, the trees have grown a great deal since the lodge was built so the views of the Lake are less than spectacular. I enjoyed my stay and would go back. The food was fine; service a little slow

Stayed in 407. Clean, comfortable and private. Only drawbacks, windows were a bit drafty and all the smoke didn't go up the chimney. Location was perfect for touring the entire area.
