We opted to stay at the convention center because of the prices, and the reasonable distance to the French quarter. The lobby and hotel were nicely redone, and surprisingly nice for a courtyard branded hotel. The rooms were average, but clean - and the staff went out of their way to allow us an early check in.

We had an excellent stay of four days here. It is a Marriott quality facility. A very nice outdoor pool and outdoor hot tub. Cleanliness and sleep quality were excellent. This facility is a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter, or an $8.00 cab ride. Staff were uniformly friendly and courteous.

Rooms were great. We were on the pool/courtyard side of the hotel and it was very quiet. We stayed from Monday to Friday so not sure what the weekend would be like.
