The only true good thing about this hotel is the locating. It's very close to bourbon st and around the corner from the casino. So that's great. The hotel has a kinda old school theme to it, which wasn't bad at 1st. The room we were in didn't have any windows. None. We were so close to the elevator that... More

I have only stayed in big name hotels before in New Orleans. Stayed at the Pelham after a referral from a friend, and was I surprised. This was a great location and great features as well. The staff were great and full of great information about the city and on going events. You get to experience New Orleans charm in... More

Great location! Old building. THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE REMODELED ASAP!!!!! Our room was on the 4th floor. We took the elevator up and when we stopped at the 4th floor the elevator dropped (this is every time your on the left elevator). I felt like I was on the tower of terror in Disney! The hall smelled like mold.... More

Having recently stayed at the Pelham Hotel I can only say what a pleasureable experience it was. The reception staff were friendly, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about local tours and even booked one for us. The bedroom was very well furnished with antique furniture, a modern bathroom and king size bed. The hotel was approximately 10 minutes walk from... More

Hotel is in a great location. Directions on site were perfect. Just minutes to Harrahs and a short 5 min walk to the Riverwalk shops. 10 walk to French Quarter. There is alot ot do around the hotel. Less than 5 min drive to Port of New Orleans. Rooms were big and spacious. Only issue I had was at check... More

Thanks to all the reviews, we were ready for what we found at The Pelham. It was a busy time in New Orleans, and the higher rated hotels were already booked. Value and location were what led us here, and we were pleased with both. But a good value meant we gave up some amenities. Our 4th floor room was... More

We found this hotel easily, it is just off Canal Street, a block from Harrahs Casino. We had a beautiful room with high ceilings, two large windows and new modern bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the room and linens were spotless. There is coffee in the lobby in the morning. We had breakfast in the Ruby Slipper, adjoining the... More

Garmin went crazy trying to find this place. Not very well marked. Nice hotel. First floor guests complained about vending door slamming repeatedly all night long. They did fix it. Rooms typical of New Orleans. Smaller, we didn't mind not having a window. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location great - short walk everywhere. Ruby Slipper next door is awesome... More

They advertise this hotel as being "This historic landmark hotel offers 60 uniquely appointed guestrooms featuring grand 18 foot ceilings, original old brick walls, crown molding and 10 feet tall windows". So that was my expectation. I arrived later in the evening in the pouring rain. No valet parking, you have to park the car near the hotel out front,... More
