I stayed at this hotel while visiting the city for the first time for a dear friend's wedding. The hotel was clean (I'm a neat freak), very modern, and nicely air-conditioned (which was SUPER important since it was around 98* and stupid humid every day I was there). The lobby was very cool with a great bar and comfy chairs.... More

This place is beautiful and not your chain hotel. My room was small but simple and pretty - all black and white. The bed was comfortable enough, and the room was plenty big for one person, probably two, assuming you don't plan on spending all your time inside. The lobby, elevators, and bar are just gorgeous. Service was professional and... More

So this is located on Camp St. which is not Canal and a little bit of a walk from Canal so why so expensive? I could have done without the extremely dark ambiance of the lobby. But the lobby smelled nice and was spacious with tons of seating which I liked. The rude woman who checked me in was a... More

This is our second time staying at International House and again we were very pleased. The decor of the hotel has changed from our last visit but the ambience we loved was definitely still there. Check-in was quick and was pleasantly surprised that our room was not the window-less room we were expecting from our booking. Free wi-fi was provided.... More

On the last minute we decided to join some friends in New Orleans for the weekend, not knowing it was the Oyster Fest. We found the name of the International House on Camp Street after calling several other places and could not find a room affordable to us. They had a room available just a few blocks from where our... More

My husband and I stayed one night in a corner king room. Even though we arrived a bit early the room was ready which was great. Huge windows gave the room lots of light and a spacious feel. Bed was very comfortable. The Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location was also a plus, out of the quarter but... More

Stayed for a weekend in one of the Apple King rooms and was lovely, clean with a very comfy bed and great walk in shower. All the staff were great, friendly and very knowledgeable Great bar downstairs and in a nice location just across from the French Quarter just one block off Canal Street but far enough away for a... My husband and I stayed at International House this past April during JazzFest. Positives: It was one of the more reasonably-priced options available, it's located close to John Besh's restaurant Luke, where we ended up eating, drinking or snacking nearly every day, and the bar downstairs serves a nice array of cocktails. Minuses: the room itself was quite dreary, with... More

We are so happy that you found our location to be great. We are indeed close to so many of NOLA's greatest restaurants. There are many room choices at IH and are sorry that your particular room did not have a view. Please take a look at the Panormic Corner King when you book again. We promise that the view... More

As a bustling journalist, I arrived to the International House with open arms and smiling faces. The staff was very attentive to my needs and overall media concerns. Everyoe was so helpful with directions and New Orleans attractions. They placed me into a penthouse suite by surprise with baby grand piano and a bathroom that an Egyptian goddess would die... More
