I would not discount this hotel if you're needing a centrally located French Quarter lodging. Bourbon street is steps away and most locations are within a pleasant stroll. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The hotel website does warn that there is construction going on, but that is an understatement. The main entryway on Iberville is closed and one... More

Hotel was under renovation. No access to restaurant, no pool, no gym, one day with no water. When they are done should be a very nice stay. Great location. Hotel's primary restaurant is excellent. My room was very quiet, overlooking a courtyard. Good internet service, comfy bed, large rooms. Would come back after they finish the remodel.

Although the entrance closest to Deanie's restaurant was closed due to remolding, the entrance off of Cansl St. wasnt bad. It was a little walk to the area of Bourbon that we like to go to, but it wasn't too bad. The room was huge and very clean. It was very quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The only... More

Girl at the front desk put a bad taste in my mouth from the get go. She could not find my reservation and did not seem to have any concern or regard for the fact. Actually seemed like it would be less work for her if she didn't find the reservation. So she seemed pleased with the fact and did... More

The hotel is in an amazing location, at the corner of Canal and Bourbon. Currently the facility is being renovated (April 2012) with the pool empty, tiki bar closed, and other restaurant closed. The rooms however are great. Our room with 2 double beds had VERY tall ceilings, plenty of room, and even a sectional couch. The staff was friendly... More

I just returned from a seminar held at this hotel, and after all the bad reviews, I was pleasantly surprised! Yes, there's a confusing walk to the ugly temporary registration "desk", but all went smoothly, and staff was very helpful. Only one of three elevators working during construction, which was annoying at times.....However, I had a renovated room and it... More

Stayed here 1 night during the NCAA tourney. Great hotel, great room, great location. The people were very friendly, I would stay here again no problem. The room had no noise issues.

We research our trips carefully. We read reviews from several websites before making decisions and weigh those reviews considering what is said and why. We stayed here April 3rd -thru the 9th. Many people were unhappy with this hotel because they did not know it was being renovated and therefore disturbed at it's condition (someone didn't do their research). We... More

Our reservation got screwed up at a neighboring hotel so we ended up here. The lobby was being renovated so the only entrance was off of Canal St which was a bit of a pain but nothing we couldn't stand. The rooms were recently renovated and we were very pleased with our Petite Suite. Until we attempted to sleep that... More

Thank you for your recent stay with us. I would like to apologize for the outside noise that you experienced. That is one of the drawbacks of being right off Canal and Bourbon Street. I will pass on your comments to our housekeeping manager about the talkative housekeepers in hopes that this issue can be taken care of ASAP. Please... More

We stayed here over the past weekend and had a nice stay. The property is currently in the middle of remodeling the entire place. Virtually everything was in various stages of demolition and construction. Normally, this would have ruined the experience for us. However, the staff went out of their way to help us. I felt really bad for them... More
