Hotel Royal has recently been remodeled. My room was gorgeous! The location is perfect! It is located on a very quiet street. Everything is in walking distance. The staff was so lovely. I could not recommend this place enough!

From the other reviews, I was a little worried when I made the reservation. But the hotel has be recently renovated. The rooms were small, but clean and nicely appointed. Internet is fast and free. Great location on Royal St, a short walk to all the bars and restaurants of the French Quarter. This hotel has a great location on Royal street. The rooms have been renovated and are nice, but small. Be prepared to walk up stairs, there is no elevator.
