Are you looking for prime location, but are one that can deal with not having the frills of a hotel? Then, this place is for you. The place is a very old guest house, filled with character and basic ammenities. For the money (way cheaper than all!) it is a descent, fairly clean place to stay. The building is right... More

I would highly recommend the Biscuit Palace. The building has so much character and the location is perfect; half a block from Bourbon Street. Clayton, the owner, is very helpful. The guest house is located between Bourbon and Royal streets. Clayton will also help you book excursions. Also an easy walk to Jackson Square and that area.

As previously stated, don't expect a 4star hotel. This is a creaky, sometimes lopsided building that is absolutely the true flavor of New Orleans. My room was authentically decorated and had a front balcony (so a little noisy when the crazies on Bourbon are drinking). Yes, the steps can be a challenge but certainly not a problem for most. Staff... More

My husband and I stayed at the Biscuit Palace in 2012, and we simply loved it! We had a room with a balcony where we drank coffee in the mornings. The room is definitely not equivalent with one of the nicer hotels such as the Hotel Monteleon or LePavillion, but it is exactly what we wanted. Our room had a... More

Reviewed the Biscuit Palace last year and gushed all over it. For our group it is fantastic, again, a bit quirky, funky and tilted some, but absolutely genuine New Orleans! I'll just say again this place may not be for everybody but if you want a real taste of the Quarter in a location right off Bourbon, read up on... More

The Biscuit Palace is everything New Orleans. The rooms are always neat and clean and the staff is great. Clayton has some great tips and advice for the 'not to miss places'. It is located within walking distance to Bourbon Street, Jackson Square and lots of boutique shops! I recommend a suite with a balcony, it's the prefect place to... More

I had the recent good fortune to come into a reservation at the Biscuit Palace. Being located on the corner of Bourbon and Dumaine we were happy to be about two blocks from the bars our group had arranged multiple events. The guesthouse is conveniently located to the usual hot spots while also being in a slightly more residential area.... More

Every review on here is right on. This place is amazing but not for everyone. It is probably the best location in the quarter right on the edge of all the action of Bourbon Street. I've been going for Halloween weekend every year, except Katrina :-(, since 1997 and have stayed at the Palace the last 10 years. Clayton is... More

I am originally from the New Orleans Northshore, so I am pretty discerning when it comes to visiting Nola. My husband and I tend to seek out the unique, and Biscuit Palace completely fit the bill. Upon arrival we were greeted by Clayton, who was friendly and even gave us parking tips to help us avoid a ticket (parking in... More

Perspective...if you're looking for ordinary, stay at the Marriott or similar, but if you want to be at the heart of everything, have a sense of adventure and want a quiet comfortable bed for the night, I'd highly recommend this place for your stay. Be aware there are stairs. But this place has charm and character that fits with the... More
