This place is packed with character, exotic decor and a relaxed atmosphere. Considering its central location right off of Bourbon Street, it was amazingly quiet at night. Both the inner and outer balconies offer a nice perch for relaxing/people watching. The proprietor Clayton is the prototypical Southern gentleman who makes you feel right at home and is responsive to requests.... More

We recently booked the Biscuit Palace to stay with some friends. It was a terrible mistake. The room was not clean, and smelled absolutely terrible. Doors did not reach the ceilings. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, and tiny. The stairs are incredibly steep and leaning. The location is reasonable, but I suggest you pay a little more and stay somewhere else.... More

This isn't your typical hotel, as a matter of fact it's not a hotel at all. Right off Burbon Street, across from the Clover Grill (great breakfast). Building is on the quiet side of the French Quarter. Views of the city scape provide a gorgous backdrop . No elevator so be prepared to climb 22 stairs to the second floor... More

I realized during my stay at the Biscuit Palace that the reviews that loved the place and those that hated it were all true. Five stars or one star - it depends on your priorities and your expectations. When you book this accommodation, you are really buying location and value. It could not be in a better spot - walkable... More

This place is right off Bourbon Street. Perfect spot if you really enjoy the French Quarter. Bourbon Street on your right and Royal Street on your left. WHAT A LOCATION!! I stayed on the top floor appartment with a bunch of friends. This place isnt the Ritz but it is perfect for a group of guys who are looking for... More

We had a room reservation booked months in advance for Final Four weekend. Last week, the hotel cancelled our reservation without our knowledge and booked the room to someone else. And, they now refuse to refund our deposit. We have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

The Biscuit Palace is a guest house. It's in the quarter, and reasonably priced. It's decorated in true NOLA fashion. The accommodations are not "perfect", which is what makes it charming and fitting of New Orleans. The room I stayed in was large, with separate dressing and bath area. Clayton is super nice and the courtyard is charming. I've stayed... More

Ok, this is a guesthouse not a B&B! If you need perfection in your accommodations don't bother. No fancy breakfast or choclolate candy on your pillow here. What you do get with the Biscuit Palace is authenticity, charm and a funky quaintness that screams New Orleans! Located directly in the middle of all things French Quarter you just step out... More

Even though the reviews were mixed of the Palace, we decided to try this place because we like old and charming, and the location seemed great. We used to live in New Orleans so wanted a quirky old world experience. We have both traveled around the world and can stay in simple places, and as long as they are clean,... More

The location of this place can't be beat! Right in the middle of the French Quarter on Dumaine, between the gorgeous and funky Royal St and the crazy Bourbon street, although it is down some from the real craziness of Bourbon. Half a block away are the Clover Grill and a gay bar called Cafe Lafitte in Exile. The rainbow... More
