It depends on what you want. If you want to be pampered with silk sheets and a spa then this isn't the place for you- you will hate it. If you want a comfortable bed for a good night sleep, simple ambiance, great friendly service, want to be in the heart of New Orleans, and are on a budget, this... More

This place is great for the price! I went with 3 of my friends (all college students). We stayed in the Plantation and Cowboy suites. The place was in walking distance of Bourbon St. and we even walked to Harrah's Casino. We did not drive or get a cab the whole time we were there because we could easily walk... More

If you're deciding between here and The Ritz, this isn't the place for you. But If want to save money in a quiet, convenient location, this is the place! The caretakers are friendly and helpful, you can walk to everything, the neighborhood is clean and safe and the price is right.

This was the first time we have vacationed in New Orleans and stayed in something other than a chain hotel. We wanted a more unique experience with local flavor, and we got it! We felt as if we were staying in our childhood homes. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel with all the bells and whistles, this... More

I planned my trip a year in advance, so was able to get my room really cheap. Realized after that I booked the same weekend as the French Quarter Festival, so even better! The inn keeper was really nice and stayed out of our way. The inn and the rooms are old and simple. If you're looking to stay in... More

Myhusband and i stayed 2 nights here. It was within walking distanceof the French quarter. You need to be prepared to climb stairs as this 2 story house has lots of them. The room was very cozy and quaint and we had a private bathroom. The shower is not made for tall people. Ms. Kim was very kind and helpful. We would... More

Kim and Charley, the INNkeepers, were helpful and friendly. Charming place, a little off the beaten path, but only a 5 minute walk from buses and 10 minute walk from French Quarter. Great value for the price.

I stayed at the inn in march 2013 right after my cruise. I had picked the inn because of price and wanted to see new Orleans after our Holliday. Kim and Charlie made it feel like home. They made smores for the kids and even offered us dinner. Kim was very helpful on places we could eat as well thing... More

We originally picked this place because it was such a great value. As it turns out, it was also a superb location, authentic feeling, and homey. If you are going to New Orleans and planning to stay out all day, we think this is the absolute best place you could stay. It is 4 blocks from Frenchmen Street and all... More

We stayed 6 nights in the Plantation room and one night in the sweet dreams room. The rooms are small, but adequate. Great location just a short mile walk to all the action in the french quarter. Also just a few blocks from Frenchman St. I had no major issues at all during our stay. The room was clean, and... More
