Harrah's New Orleans is HUGE! We had a great time playing video roulette and a few of the other machines. The people were very friendly, and overall we had a great time. We did not stay in the hotel, but we just stopped in a few times when we were out and about downtown. The only disadvantage that I can... More

WOW! What a beautiful hotel. We have stayed at many Harrah,s properties and this is by far the best. We stayed four nights. From the minute we walked in we were impressed. The staff was so friendly. The lobby is beautiful. We got there around noon and our room was not ready yet. The young lady at the desk took... More

No complaints at all. Big room, comfortable bed, huge bathroom with nice tube. Clean. Nice employees. The casino is across the street with an underground path to the hotel. The only thing missing is a restaurant with breakfast in the hotel, but it's a really great place in any way.

As always, the room was large and beautiful. The staff was outstanding. Had to drop the overall rating to 4 because of a printer problem. There 4 of us in the business office printing our boarding passes. The printer was jammed so I called for help. They said someone was on the way. 20 minutes later..no one ...so we called... More

Every one was so friendly. We used the concierge services for restaurant recommendations, directions, printing of our boarding passes, etc. It was nice getting a greeting and big smile every time we entered the lobby. Room was very nice and convenient. We used the trolley and were able to visit a great deal of the city. TIny little complaint- had... More

Maid stole $4300. Casino wouldn't search her, only questioned her for 15 minutes and let her go, and wouldn't release her name to us. We had to check out and head home two days later. They assured us they would continue their investigation (check tapes, question other employees) and get those results back to us in no later than a... More

The Harrah's hotel in New Orleans is close to the French Quarter and the Audubon Aquarium. It is not far to the River Walk and other attractions. The best thing about this hotel for me was the mattress. I have back problems and many times have difficulty sleeping on the mattresses in most hotels. All the Harrah's rooms have Simmons... More

Fiancee and I travelled bro New Orleans week of Labor Day. Next time we go it will be in December, the humidity was just far too overbearing to do any exploring. Nice part is taxi from the airport has a set price on the hotel district so you know you aren't being fleeced. Think it was $30. Room was fantastic,... More

I have stayed at some of Harrah's other properties (Vegas/Laughlin/Reno), so I knew what to expect upon arriving at this location. Boy, was I wrong! This property is far lovelier than the others, boasting exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail. The rooms are luxurious and welcoming, superb quality linens, comfy and non-squeaky bed (laugh if you want, but we all... More

4th time in New Orleans. Previous visits were good, (stayed elsewhere) . Harrah's made this a bad visit. Rooms are overpriced. Valet parking was $34! No typo! $34 for ONE night! If you plan on gambling, be aware that the Hotel is on one side of the street and the Casino is on the other side. We are an elderly... More
