My wife and our daughter and her friend stayed in seperate rooms at the inn and had a great time. Jim and Leigh serve a great breakfast and really love New Orleans. The inn is situatied at a perfect distance from the French Quarter and many bars and jazz clubs. Felt like home in NOLA and would stay again.

My husband and I stayed here during the second week of this years Jazzfest. The innkeepers Jim & Leigh helped us to get our bearings as soon as we arrived and really seemed to listen to what we were interested in seeing in the area. The inn itself was charming and as music lovers we felt right at home (not... More

We stayed for 3 nights from7th to 10 May as part of a road trip around the Deep South. This review is based on our experience, please bear in mind we are Scottish and it may be our expectations are a bit different from others! First impression: We initially thought upon arriving that the neighbourhood looked a bit run down... More

I just wanted to say that I agree with all of the positive reviews. Jim & Leigh are so sweet & helpful, location, I thought, was great, & I slept like a baby every night. This was my first trip to New Orleans & it will not be my last. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Sadly, we had to leave this lovely inn after staying for eight days in New Orleans. I chose this inn for it's proximity to Frenchman Street-the premier location for good music. We could easily walk the two blocks and no matter what time we wandered back, we felt completely safe in this charming neighborhood. It is also an easy walk... More

Leigh and Jim run a terrific B&B. We went for QuarterFest, April 11-15, 2012. The Inn is a short 2 block walk to the Marigny section which leads right into the French Quarter. We loved our room and it was quiet after a very fun, but noisy day. Breakfasts were really well prepared each day and we just ordered for... More

We stayed for two nights atElysian Fields Inn and enjoyed the whole experience. We were only 5 blocks from the French Quarter and three of those blocks along Frenchman Street had music venues and restaurants which we visited also. The owner couple were extemely helpful with advice on activities, restaurants and walking rooutes around town. The location was just outside... More

This is our 10th trip to NOLA and our second stay at the Elysian Fields B & B. Leah and Jim are perefct inn-keepers. Welcoming, enthusiastic, willing to share their ideas about NOLA..food, music, events, arts, yet non-intrusive! Inn is lovely and comfortable. Beds are comfortable and rooms are nice size. Aveda bath products in bathrooms; good showers and jetted... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Elysian Fields Inn twice this past month during a road trip to Florida from Texas. We learned of the B&B from a friend who used to live in NOLA and highly recommended that we stay there. The house is beautiful with gorgeous front and back porches, and lovely rooms with wood floors, giant wooden... More

We were in NO for a business conference and it it hadn't been for Leigh and Jim, we would have been discouraged. They had all the answers: great suggestions for meals, places to visit, transportation suggestions, and so much more. Breakfast was alway good, I sure do wish i could cook eggs like Leigh does. I do, however, make a... More
