Twenty years ago, there wasnt much going on in the warehouse district of New Orleans. But anyone with any appreciation early 20th century industrial architecture would have been able to predict that it wouldn't take long for the area to see a renaissance. It has arrived! Fantastic new restaurants, brilliant galleries, new bars and cafes. A very vibrant scene. The... More

From the moment we pulled up to the curb on the hard to pronounce Tchoupitoulas Street, our expectations were met or exceeded for our weekend visit. The valets were helpful and friendly, the front desk was efficient and gracious, the lobby is beautiful and smells great, the art in the hotel is lovely, the rooms are clean and comfy and... More

We stayed here the last weekend of Jazz Fest (May 2012). It's located in the Warehouse/Museum district, just a mile from Bourbon street. It's across from a bar called Lucy's, which was a lot of fun. Art lines the walls and is displayed on the tables. There is an actual display, that's sealed off from guests, unfortunately. You have to... More

This four star boutique hotel, located in the heart of the Arts District of New Orleans, is housed in a renovated historical warehouse which mixes original art and contemporary design. This hotel is unique in that it displays the work of local artists throughout the lobby, halls, and guest quarters. The rooms are not only well appointed with comfortable beds... More

Beautiful lobby with great art. Love the Chihuly chandeliers. Big room, though small bathroom. Lots of storage space, decent closet size. Get an inside room overlooking the lobby and sculpture garden --- very light and airy. No noise from outside and almost no noise from the corridor. Oh, and there is a rooftop pool and sundeck with great views.

Getting out of the cab i was a little nervous about the the extermely packed bar across the street, but once inside i couldnt hear a thing. This hotel was beautiful and clean. The rooms were nicely furnished and the beds really comfortable. Its probably the fastest i ever slept.

I stayed here for two nights prior to spending a week at the W. There location is really great, central but a bit away from the noisy bigger streets. It is located in the warehouse district where there are practically no tall buildings. The hotel is surrounded with very interesting art galleries, all of them worth a visit. The lobby... More

We stayed at this hotel before our Carnival Conquest cruise last week and had another great stay. In 2009, we stayed here pre-cruise and hoped that we would have the same wonderful experience as before again-- we did! I had booked using rewards points and was expecting a standard room-- what a surprise to find that we had been upgraded... More

Quick elevators, beautiful hotel, friendly staff, no complaints at all. Beautiful brick wall in the hotel room. About a 15 minute walk to Jackson Square in the French Quarter. Would stay here again while in New Orleans.

This hotel is just outside of French Quarter....not a bad walk or a really quick cab ride. The room was clean and the staff very professional. Beautiful Lobby and very cool roof top pool. The CBD/Warehouse district of the city is a very nice alternative to French Quarter Party scene with cool art galleries, coffee shops and museums (WWII museum... More
