Not all accommodations are the same at the Hubbard Mansion. We were a group of 4 so instead of getting two rooms, the inn-keeper offered us the "carriage house". Don Hubbard runs this pristine B&B in the Garden District. An interesting man to spend time with, we really enjoyed the shared breakfast table and conversation with him and other guests. This is not your typical hotel experience.

Felt so welcome at this beautiful home. We were looking for a place that was convenient to the city, yet peaceful and quiet. Found it here. Sheila and Don were great hosts, the room was lovely, spa tub perfect, bed so so comfortable. History lessons unforgettable, stay with these folks if you get the chance.
