This hotel is in a pretty good location. A short walk to Bourbon St and Canal as well. It is a long walk down to the water, convention center and the casino so if that is where you are headed, book closer. The hotel and restaurant were good but nothing spectacular. All in all I was happy with this choice.

Stayed at this hotel for my 60th bday celebration. The room was nice, clean and was not too small. I had read other reviews and asked for a corner room because other reviews stated they were bigger. Stay in room 501 overlooking the pool with windows on two sides. while not in the French Qtr, it is in walking distance,... More

I love this hotel. My sisters and I traveled to New Orleans for an annual sister trip. We picked New Orleans for this year. This place is one of the best places we have stayed for location, price, and wonderful staff. Evette, the navigator, was such a lovely lady. I hate to single her out alone because from the door... Walk to Bourbon Street, Superdome. Enjoyed the hotel, the receptionist was great. She had a good sense of humor. The Club Lounge was a little small, but wasn't too crowded. The room was great, enjoyed my stay.

This hotel proved to be a perfect location. We easily walked to the French Quarter and had close access to the St. Charles streetcar for trips out to the Garden District. Our room was jusrt right, clean and quiet. Breakfast each morning was delightful and the service throughout our stay was courteous, friendly and helpful.

I came to city on business and I stayed at this gem. The hotel is classy and elegant. Food service was tasty and inexpensive. Visit restaurant Domenica around the corner during happy hour for 1/2 price pizza and Abita beer.

This hotel was perfect in that you could walk to anywhere in the French Quarter, but there was no concern of noise from Canal or Bourbon at night. Very clean, updated for a great price!

The Pere Marquette is ideal for exploring the French Quarter. It is a quick walk to the center of all the action without being trapped in the noisy evening chaos. It is also near the St. Charles cable car line that can easily take you to the Garden District if you choose. The room was clean and comfortable. They also... More

The Pere Marquette is a stylish hotel in the Central Business District, close to the French Quarter but so much quieter. I was able to score a very favorable rate for this hotel via Priceline and felt very smug about the elegance, convenience and comfort of this hotel for less than I've paid to stay in EconoLodges off the interstate.... We only stayed here for one night before moving to to the Omni Royal, where we usually stay. We booked the room on priceline for cheap. The hotel lobby and bar were beautiful and comfy. The staff at front desk, bar and restaurant were all exceptional. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. I am always surprised when people... More
