Award winning documentary film, descendant docent. Two tours per day, definitely worth the bus ride from the French Quarter. I only came for the house tour. The special event rentals and Bed and Breakfast support this historical treasure.

What an awesome place. It is like stepping back in time. Having one of Degas descendants give us a tour was was a very nice touch. We are thoroughly loving this place. Very convenient to the rest of town too.

We stayed here for two nights in the Mathilde suite. It was very spacious and elegant. It was a great experience being able to stay in a period American home and one with a rich history. There's lots of copies of Degas' work around the house and plenty of information too about the artist and his family who lived there.... More
