Hotel needs an update, seems a bit rundown. Breakfast omelet staff was fun and friendly and bell/conciege team also helpful. Rooms were worn and not too comfortable bed. I've stayed in several Embassy's but this was not the greatest!

We stayed at this Embassy and I was a little scared of what type of room we will get based on some of the reviews. We'll the picture of the hotel they show online is not the way the hotel looks for one. The lobby area is very nice and updated for sure. Now the outside is very colorful pink... More

This Is not like any other Embassy Suites I have ever seen. I travel frequently for business and pleasure, and I know things happen sometimes, and don't expect total perfection, nor am I one of those people who minds a little funk - when you're staying in a funky place. But you expect a certain standard with a corporate chain,... More

We are attending an event in New Orleans and embassy suites is the official hotel. This is a great hotel for a gathering...people can get together for breakfast and happy hour in a pleasant central location. BUT the rooms are awful!!! They are not only dated but dirty. I have read previous reviews saying that the dirt should be overlooked... More

The hotel is in a very convenient location for the Riverwalk, French Quarter, and Harrah's. Just a short walk away there are many shops and restaurants. There is a bus located at the Riverwalk that will take you, for $1.25, to various places in the area. The cost of a taxi from the hotel to Bourbon Street was $8. The... More

this hotel is well located and most of the front desk staff are lovely, but that is about where it ends. the property is very dated, and the decor is dark. the outside of the building is filthy, and the dark colors inside make it a bit depressing. some of the rooms require long walks and staircases between where buildings... we spent there 3 nights in the building aside with the lofts, a former sugar refinery fabrik. The suite was big, perfectly equipped and in excellent condition and with the style and flair of the fabric. Free internet, free drinks in the happy hour and an excellent breakfast made its to us for a excellent value for money. Parking is... More

I have stayed here a few times before and always enjoy myself. The Front Desk staff, Breakfast cooks and servers, & the Great bartenders always greet you with a smile. I stayed here when It was very busy with the French Quarter Festival going on in April, a must do if you have never been. A short walk to the... More

From the outside, the hotel looks tired. We were expecting a room with an interior corridor, but we got an exterior corridor instead. As for the rooms, they were somewhat liveable. The sofa bed had an old mattress, so it was lumpy. I killed a waterbug that was crawling on the sofa, and there was also a cockroach in the... More
