We loved the location of the Dauphine; it was close to all the action in the quarter. The afternoon ginger cookies hit the spot. Great selection at breakfast. We inadvertently left my husband's iPad at the bottom of the safe. When we called, Jan (?) took charge and retrieved it for us. Fantastic service! You guys rock!

Stayed here over first weekend of JazzFest. Upon checking in, we were given a room with not a great view(parking facility). After requesting a change of rooms, they were able to accommodate us after the first night as rooms became available across the street in the courtyard area.....much nicer. The Dauphine Orleans proved to be a really nice find in the French Quarter. I had a balcony room and was a bit concerned about the noise, but had no issues. 9 of us went to NOLA for a girls trip for Jazz Fest and loved the Dauphine Orleans! Fantastic location, charming courtyard and pool, cool little bar, comfortable rooms, excellent staff. The breakfast was average...pretty typical complimentary B-fast and could have been a little better. Otherwise, loved it!!

Hotel Dauphine has clean rooms, comfortable beds, helpful staff. Its surprisingly quiet for its close proximity to the action. It has a small quiet courtyard with seating. Great restaurants, shops and galleries and music within walking distance. There is a great bike rental just a few blocks away if you want to explore more of this fabulous town.
