Traveling from Amsterdam, it was quite some distance to get to, but i'd do it again in a heart beat! It's not often one finds such an exquisitely finished Inn with outstanding, understated service. We loved it and would definitley go back!

This is our third year staying at the Masion Hill Inn when we come to town for the UW year end band concert. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They made our dinner reservations and picked out a room out that was perfect for us. It is close to the downtown area and state street, the farmers pmarket and...

We spent a romantic night at the Mansion Hill Inn and really enjoyed it! The rooms and the staff are excellent and cater to your every need. We enjoyed a bottle of wine in the lounge before walking downtown to L' Etoile for a fantastic meal. The Inn takes you back in time when luxury was the norm. I'm sure...

We have stayed at the Mansion Hill Inn several times. Our children our students at the University of Wisconsin, so we enjoy the opportunity to be so close to our children's off campus housing, yet close to all of the attractions of downtown Madison. No matter when we stay, we receive excellent service from the staff. All are so friendly...

Brought my boyfriend up to see my former favorite b&b. Where did all the character go? Where are the minbars? Where are the whirlpool tubs for two that used to be in every room? Where is breakfast in our room? And for our trouble I paid a hundred dollars more for the same room. I don't understand you trek people....

I have had the opportunity to stay at Mansion Hill Inn many times over the last few years.
My most recent stay in October was amazing as always. The staff is attentive and friendly, always available to attend to any need. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. Room 7 has a hidden bathroom behind a bookcase! The bar is...

This Inn was very cozy. We checked into room 8 which was larger than photos and descriptions had previously hinted. The shower was also roomy with 2 shower heads and Aveda products. Our room had a gas fireplace but not much heat came from it. We were okay with this since the thermostat worked perfectly. We wondered if the property...

The hotel is well positioned to take advantage of campus life, the capitol scene (farmers market, great restaurants), as well as State Street shopping. We parked our car for the weekend and walked or biked everywhere (nice Trek bikes at your disposal). The building is beautiful and the hotel is well maintained. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable,...

Loved our time at Mansion Hill Inn. The room was spacious with gas fireplace, comfortable couch, flat screen tv, and private porch. Behind the bookcase, was an enormous bathroom with tile shower, heated floors, and separate heat zone. The staff was top notch and attentive. The turn-down service, cookie before bed, and handwritten note on tomorrow's weather and events was...

The Mansion is more of a hotel in its service level. More of a B&B in its historic charm, elegance, size and comfort. The bar is a great place to have a drink before finding a place for dinner. Trek bikes are available for a ride. Very friendly staff. FYI...the Mansion was renovated a couple years ago. It is fully...
