We had a very relaxing weekend at the Livingston Inn. We stayed in the William Leitch room and it was very comfortable. Peggy and Dave went far beyond just providing us a place to stay and really helped us have a great weekend. Peggy made many phone calls to find us reservations for dinner both nights on a very busy... More

I gave my lovely wife a Mothers Day gift of an evening at the Livingston Inn., We had an absolutely lovely experience. We arrived at this grand, historic home and were met by a very gracious and welcoming hostess. We entered in our elegant room and were greeted with champagne and scrumptious chocolates. Our package included dinner which we enjoyed... More

This is a beautiful home, set back on a large lawn and just a stone's throw and with access to Lake Mendota. We were shown to a lovely room and hit the streets to find a place for supper. This home is a few blocks from the State Capitol Square, just lined with restaurants and shops that you need to... More

My sister and I stayed here in April 2012 on a Sunday and Monday night. Even in the rain we could feel the warm welcoming atmosphere of this historic B&B. We enjoyed sipping wine and sharing stories with Peggy. Dave's warm, calm sharing of information guided us on where to find neighborhood shops to enjoy. My favorite spot was sitting... More

This is a great setting where guests are drawn into experiencing an appreciation for historical design, and the soothing comfort of a home, where Peggy and Dave Furlan embrace the history and add gracious service for guests. Sumptuous home served breakfasts and informal early evening wine sampling gatherings - in the inviting fireplace living room - spark diverse conversation of... More

I traveled to Madison for the birth of my first grand baby. My daughter had visited the Inn earlier and chose the Willow room for me. It was just lovely, I so enjoyed the fireplace after a long day of traveling. As an innkeeper myself, I have pretty high standards, and I recommend this inn and the lovely innkeepers without... More

First, the Livingston Inn is wonderfully located a mere steps from the lake and a very short walk from the State Capitol building and all the restaurants and shopping of that area. Second, the inn is absolutely beautiful -- lovingly maintained, delightfully decorated, warm, and rich. Everywhere you look has interest and texture, without ever being gaudy or too much.... More

Besides the charm & beauty of this home, the comfort of the rooms & all the little extras (to die for chocolates) that make it amazing - Peggy & Dave go above & beyond to really make your stay special. The breakfast part of this B & B was something we really looked forward to each morning. With this being... More

The William Leitch house, a Gothic revival manse built in 1857-58 by a Civil War era mayor, is one of Madison's most important 19th century landmarks. (When my 3-year-old grandson who lives nearby walked in, he exclaimed, "This is a NICE place!" ;) Its gracious owners, Peggy and Dave Furlan, are delighted to "show and tell" interested Livingston Inn B&B...
