I stayed with my wife at the Best Western Inntowner in Madison, WI in room 434 from April 25-30, 2013. The stay was quite pleasant, towels were fluffy and plentiful, we asked for and received an abundance of hangers, parking was fine, we either had no neighbors or the acoustic insulation was very good, internet bandwidth was sufficient to watch... As other reviewers have noted, it's at the far end of the UW campus. So if your business/entertainment is near the east end of campus or near the Capitol be prepared to walk 1-2 miles, drive (pay for parking) or schedule one of their complimentary shuttles in advance. Only once was I unable to schedule the shuttle on about half... More

I recently spent 4 nights at this hotel. I have nothing but good things to say about it. It was very clean. The staff were superb. The free breakfast buffet was excellent. Dinner in the restaurant was pretty good too. There is a small bar next to the restaurant, and they serve free popcorn in the lobby. The only thing... More

June 13-14, 2012 My wife had an annual appointment at the University of Wisconsin Hospital & Clinics. Hoping to get better treatment than we received with our previous Best Western stay (I can't review it, too long ago), I registered with Best Western's Reward Program. We even personally contacted them, payed more, splurging for the promise of a dozen warm... More

This property appears to date from the 1970s. It is in generally good repair although the decor is a bit dated, especially the carpets in the hallways. The rooms are a good size with the only difficulty being a lack of power outlets near the desk; we didn't travel with so many electronic devices 40 years ago! The pool and... More

Great for a football weekend, but perfect anytime. Comfortable accommodation, simple and practical. Very good breakfast. Front desk staff was excellent. It would help if housekeeping staff knew some English!

We stayed here for my husband's surgery because of a lot of snow the night before. We live only about 25 miles away but during/after a snow storm our area is one of the last ones to be plowed. Well, it was a great decision. We had booked through the UW hospital for late arrival and everything was set when... More

The hotel was nice, the staff and the shuttle driver were very very helpful and nice. Our room left a bit to be desired - burnt out light in the bathrrom along with a burned up electrical outlet. Looking back we should have just changed rooms. The pool was clean and the free breakfast was impressive.

After reading the poor reviews this hotel has received lately, I have to admit I was reluctant to stay here. The poor reviews did not apply to our recent visit. I found the hotel to be comfortable and accommodating. From the staff at the front desk to the shuttle service, and everyone else in between was very friendly and knowledgeable.... More

We arrived at 8:30 Friday night, and there were no parking spaces available outside. In fact, cars were illegally parked, making it very difficult to drive in a Suburban. Also, it had snowed that day, but the lot was not adequately plowed/shoveled. We got into our dated room, and could hear everything! Kids running up and down halls, adults talking... More
