A great hotel and a great place for families. We stayed in the kids suite and our kids loved the 2 sets of bunk beds in their "fort". The local decor of the hotel is something more hotels should model after.

This was an above average hotel with a great view of the mountains. The rooms were clean for the most part....except the throw blanket on one of our beds which had food or something encrusted on it. This is the nicest Holiday Inn Express we have ever stayed in! Very friendly and helpful staff (Galen and Dana) during our entire stay. Beautiful décor throughout. Lots of good choices for breakfast. The Holiday Inn in Cortez was a great place to stay. VERY clean, pleasant staff, free breakfast, free bottles of water, close proximity to Mesa Verde and the Four Corners. A very good overall experience. (we had a little issue with the wifi at first, but got it worked out)
