We did not stay here but popped in for afternoon tea. The location is lovely. The ambience was relaxing and enjoyable. We were given a warm welcome. We sat outside under shade and had tea and cake overlooking the lawn and gardens. Very enjoyable experience and a must do when in Nuwara Eliya.

Went to N'Eliya with friends during the April New Year Holiday... we got-together at the Pub of Grand Hotel in the evening... the atmosphere is superb with touch of old British bungalow type hotel... service is good at the Pub n the food was simply delicious.... many might think it's too expensive but indeed it's value for money for anyone...

Wooow..really impressive..felt that I was transported to another past European era...Such amazing beautiful features..It is some old British government residence converted into a hotel...It even has a piano room with fireplaces and a pianist playing every evening and internet too(just in case u need it while listening to the piano)..It even has an Indian restaurant on its hotel grounds...And such...
