I think it should be called Suriwathi Garden Hotel. This place is family owned and all staff are Balanese wich is a true Balanese experience. Some staff are a little shy others friendly, its part of a holiday to try to comunicate and show respect for their culture. If you want A LA CARTE for less money don,t stay and complain afterwards... Second time we've stayed here but this time in the new block at the rear in front of their new pool. Stayed upstairs in a superior room which is spacious with a shower above bath. These rooms are relatively new and have a small fridge and TV with asian channels. The air conditioning was very effective. The upstairs rooms have... More

We stayed for 3 nights. The location was good, the pool small and quiet (good thing). The staff were not very friendly, but not rude just seemed o spend a lot of time standing around talking and laughing with each other. Breakfast was exceptionally basic. But the rooms were big, beds comfy, AC cold.. All in all we got what... More

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. Got a simple double room for 35,000 rupees. Beds were comfortable, air-conditioning, TV (no channels in English). There were no shelves for bath stuff in the bathroom, very uncomfortable. Each time opening the door to the bathroom we had seen there huge cockroaches. Dirty swimming pool. Breakfast was very simple, like in all... More

I have been to Bali more than 30 times and have enjoyed every stay bar this one. For the price per night $78USD I would not recommend or stay again. Breakfast is a joke. 1 piece of toast with fried egg juice or fruit tea or coffee. Or the thinnest banana pancake I have ever seen with juice or fruit... More

Suriwathi isn't the flashiest hotel in Bali, it doesnt Try to compete with the many 5 star resorts in surrounding areas, Instead, suriwathi is garenteed to give you a personal experience and a opportunity to make great friends with the local staff who work there daily. The rooms are adequate in size for the price, we stayed in the delux... More

I have stayed at the Suriwathi hotel twice now and found that it is tucked away in nice lush surroundings from the hustle and bustle of traffic and shops although literally just a few minutes will see you at shops, restaurants and bars. Five to ten minutes walk depending on your pace will see you at the beach. I found... More
