stayed in january with my mother to show her a different side of bali. Palm garden does look pretty and the drive to amed is gorgeous but for some reason that i cant put my finger on Palm Garden just didnt meet our expectations. The room was fine, clean, thin mattress and not enough blankets, bathroom good. Nice to have... More

My husband and I stayed for two nights at the end of our Bali trip and loved every minute. Pros: - Lovely, attentive, and sweet staff who spoke good English. - Beautiful views of the beach with locals and colorful fishing boats. - Walking distance (2km) to Japanese shipwreck snorkeling spot. - Good restaurant with local and western food which... We had our first trip to beautiful island of bali and we stayed 5 nights at Palm Garden Resort. The Place is nice, beautifully designed and well maintained. A quiet place, not for guests who expect party locations close by. The room was fine and fit our needs. Dont expect a TV or other equipment, just what you really need... More

Your first image of Bali once you get through immigration is of a bustling frenetic airport with people naturally coming and going. The main coastal resorts close to the airport are just crowded with western style fast food joints, traffic and nothing at all tranquil about them. For the first hour of your drive you still wonder where is the... More

Had 2 nights in a bungalow, which are very small and lacked any of what we consider the basics. No fridge, tea or coffee making facilities or safe. The owner, Anni seemed to look down her nose at us because we were staying in the "cheaper" of their accommodation. Felt very intimidated by the owners presence as they constantly walked... More

We spent only one night at the Palm Garden, as we had booked elsewhere for our first three nights in Amed, but we were very happy to have at least that one day and night. The grounds and rooms are beautifully designed and in immaculate condition. The beds were very comfortable and the food in the restaurant is varied and... More

We've spent 5 days at the Palm Garden resort in Amed and had a wonderful time. The owners are very friendly and they're always reachable for questions and advice and the hotel is intimate and cosy. Just in front of the hotel is a wonderful coral reef, highly populated with the most beautiful fishes, where we went snorkeling with the... More

There’s so much I want to say about Palm Garden Amed Beach & Spa Resort that I’m not sure where I should begin, so how about first impressions? On the approach to Palm Garden Amed Beach & Spa Resort, we drove past other resorts and hotels, all in various stages of disrepair and I was forming the impression that Amed... More

We stayed for 5 days in one of the small attached bungalows at Palm Garden. Initially I was disappointed that we didn't have little extras like a safe, internet, tv etc. However, we soon learned that the benefits of Palm Garden and Amed far outweighed those minor details. This was the first beach in Bali where we could walk without... More

After 10 days at various places in Bali, we spent 5 nights at the Palm Garden in Amed. The last days of our vacation. We could not have hoped for more.
