This place is gorgeous. Everything is beautiful: the mid-century modern villas, the rooms, the understated decor (I want my home to look like that!), the ethnic furniture, the outside veranda, the perfectly manicured gardens and pool. There aren't many rooms and there is plenty of space, so this is a quiet retreat if you are looking for two or three... More

“Kep’s first and only high-end fine dining restaurant” ran the blurb. Not sold on “fine dining”, and hard to imagine how this reconciles with long refectory table in open-sided restaurant. Big swimming pool but a bit exposed and a bit warm with the sun overhead, but those small criticisms apart, this is a lovely spot, with an immaculate lawned garden... More

Recently renovated and reborn French Colonial "mid century modern" seaside resort exceeded expectations in this remote corner of Cambodia. The hotel's 18 guest rooms overlook the pool, grounds or shore, and are immaculately clean and well appointed with many amenities found at larger properties. The electronic door key allowed operation of the room electrical circuits and airconditioning only when inserted... More

My family and I (10- and 12-year olds) spent two nights at Knai Bang Chatt between visiting Phnom Penh and Siem Reap and thoroughly enjoyed it, not only as a break between the two cities, but as a lovely seaside resort. The place is just beautiful -- very stylish and well maintained. The restaurant is very good and a perfect... More

This is one of these places one hesitates to review- if it becomes too popular it might be too expensive or booked up next time you want to stay! We stayed there over Christmas and had a really great rest after sightseeing in Siem Reap. Kep is a small, relaxed place, which doesn't feel like it's overrun by hordes of... More

We stayed here for two nights having moved from The Veranda. The hotel is right on the beach so there was a welcome breeze. The buildings are stunning and our room was extremely modern with everything we needed. The staff were very attentive and always so cheerful. It really is a great place to stay. We lunched at the next... More

We spent out last 4 nights in Cambodia here. The hotel grounds, pool and restaurant are exceptional. The villas are tasteful but interiors lacked the charm and attention to detail that we found in the other areas of the hotel. The sailing club next door is by far one of my favourite memories of the trip mojito's, salt and pepper... More

We spent 3 nights here at the end of a two and a half week tour of Laos and Cambodia. Deceptive from the outside, it is a fantastic place to stay if you just want to relax. We had room 6 - which has the best view of all the rooms. Tastefully furnished the whole place is peaceful, serene and... More

Totally worth it. The rooms and grounds have a mellow, intimate midcentury vibe. Check out the crab shacks down the way for lunch and then hit the sailing club next door for happy hour for sunset, on to the well-prepared Khmer dinner. The traditional Khmer massage was excellent and very cheap. The front desk was very helpful in helping us... More

A lovely position, right on the water. There is no beach but the pool is there. We watched the sunsets over drinks at the Sailing Club next door. Very peaceful after Phnom Pehn but not much to do apart from lazing around. We took the hotels trip to Rabbit Island and had 3 staff accompany us to prepare our lunch... More
