We stayed at the Ikweta for 8 days while volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. While the town of Maua is not-so-inviting to foreigners, this hotel provided a peaceful and comfortable place for us. I have been going to the quite ugly town of Maua on the Nyambeni hills many times for business. There was really nothing worth where to eat or stay. Until they opened this Ikweta Country Inn! It comes really as a surprise. You arrive there from dirty roads and then you are in manicured gardens, very clean and comfortable rooms,...
