Having been a travel agent--but in the days before heavy internet use--I hate it when I get faked out by nice photos and an appealing list of amenities. Zodor's sounded fantastic by all the positive reviews, the photos, and the list of amenities. But we were disappointed to find it rather shabby and in great need of updating (i.e., the... More

We stay at Zoder's a few times each year. The rooms are very clean. We enjoy the sound of the river just outside of our room. Everything in downtown Gatlinburg is within good walking distance of this hotel. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We enjoy the extras that are included .... continental breakfast, wine and cheese (or pink... More

This is an 'older' hotel, but it does not lack in modern amenities, It has a stream/river running through the center. We had a balcony that overlooked. We saw a blue heron as well as several ducks. We were told a local raccoon and black bears frequent the place, but we didn't see them unfortunately. This is a quaint, charming... More

My wife and I decided to stay at this hotel for our "baby moon". The service was excellent and the rooms were good. The hotel is over 70 years old but in great shape. From the hotel to the end of the strip is about one mile long. We walked everywhere we went from here with ease. I noticed other... More

Booked one of the tower suites, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, full kitchen. It was just what we wanted. Great size, and I loved the location, close enough to walk to everything, but not too close. Value was pretty good for the room we had, I have paid more for less elsewhere. Also included wine and cheese 5-7 each day, and... More

We arrived at Check in, greeted by a friendly lady at the front desk. She gave us coupon books and a map of the area, plus a map of the property and told us about the Free breakfast (morning), free wine and cheese( evening) and free milk and cookies ( night ). We stayed for 3 nights, we only took... More

Granted, Gatlinburg is pure tourist trash, by design and history. How many pancake houses does a town really need? That said, if you visit in order to have the best access to the Great Smokies National Park, then stay at Zoder's Inn. On the strip, family owned for 75 years, typical "motel" but with a surprise...it is well maintained and... More

I have been going to Gatlinburg since I was a baby (I am 54 now) and this inn was there even before my first visit! There are a LOT of things I love about Zoders Inn and Suites. The inn is beautifully landscaped and right on the creek. Because of this, it is a peaceful place to sleep because of... More

We really enjoyed our stay. There rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast was good. The river running between the rooms is so pretty. The value for the money is good. Its kind of a good walk to get to the "strip." Overall we enjoyed it and will stay there again.

We loved our experience at Zoders! So many charming details that show they go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and appreciated. These include Caesar, the parrot who lives in the lobby, the wine and cheese and milk and cookies offered at different times in the evening. The indoor pool area was spotless, warm and pretty with...
