If you think all the rooms are lakefront, think again. We had a basement room with a view of dandelions and backs of buildings. If you want a non-pet room be ready to cough up extra cash. We have stayed at this particular hotel a few times while we have traveled to the quaint village of Grand Marais. My husband and I absolutely love the hotel and the town. The rooms are very beautifully decorated with a great view of Lake Superior. Employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Just a great hotel, amazing views and wonderful staff!

The BW Superior Inn was fine for an overnight - big clean room nicely updated, great towels and sheets, comfy bed. Breakfast was the usual buffet with the usual choices. Overall, about as one would expect from a BW Plus.
