While on a five week cycle tour from Colorado to Canada we were lucky enough to stumble upon Lake Five Resort. We camped at many public and private campgrounds during our trip and found camp spot to be the best of our entire journey. It is situated right on beautiful Lake FIve with excellent views in all directions. The resort... More

We just visited Lake Five Resort for our first time and we absolutely loved it. It was quiet, peaceful and very beautiful. We spoke with the owner, Ron, several times and found him to be very friendly and interesting. He would be a great man to sit around a campfire with. Maybe next time :)

I had the pleasure of staying at the Lake Five Resort for five days last summer. Lake Five is located just outside Glacier National Park, and you couldn't ask for a more beautiful, peaceful surrounding. The rustic accommodations took me back to by childhood summers spent at a lakeside cabin in northern Maine. This is exactly what I was looking... More

The Lake Five Resort is one of the nicest, campground/cabin/resort situations I have seen. My dream is to buy a campground and I have been looking at a lot of them all over the United States. I told the manager how much I liked this place while he mopped the floor in his office. He nonchalantly agreed. His name is... More

Such a great place. We stopped at Glacier during the shoulder season in October, so it was super quiet. This place is beautiful though and Ron who owns and runs the campgrounds is a GREAT host. We will definitely go back there again.

We found this gem by pure chance surfing the net and decided to "wing it" We were totaly blown away by the friendliness of the resort owner and his team. Any issue we had during our entire stay was accomodated to the best of their ability. We found the resort to be very treed and the beach/swimming area clean and... More

I want to share with you a little piece of Heaven on earth. The Lake Five Resort is the most beautiful, serene and amazing place I have ever been. My family had a reunion in June 2011 at the resort. The weather wasn't the best, but there was not one of us who would have been anywhere else. Ron, the... More

Following recommendations of previous posts, we booked a 3 night stay on our trip to Glacier NP. This was the highlight of our trip. Peaceful lake, rustic cabins. No traffic noise, only an occasional train across the lake which added to the charm. We were here mid-September, a perfect time for those of us who can travel after school starts.... More

We came after the kids were back in school. The place was practically empty. We enjoyed it. We left and toured Glacier National Park. We came back for two more days because we liked it so well. Very relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Were we to return to the area we would stay there again.
