As with all Aloft hotels, they're on the funky side (neon lighting, fun elevayor floors) and make amazing use of space so the rooms don't feel small. This location really outdid itself on service--we've been to 5-star spots where employees weren't as on the ball. Great experience!

For anyone visiting Manhattan or Brooklyn, this is a great place to stay. It's only one stop over from Manhattan on the train and is in the heart of a vibrant, fun authentic neighborhood. They warned me that I might hear a little music from the lounge next door. That was an understatement. I might as well have slept in the lounge. Awful. The walls were vibrating, people were running down the hall shouting and everything smelled like smoke. I would never stay here again.

We stayed in this hotel as we were fooled by the positive reviews here. Don't get fooled by the positive reviews. They are most probably fake. There are limited choices for hotels in Brooklyn, and the neighborhoods are not well connected by subway although there are a lot of buses. There are 3 hotels on Dufferin near Fort Green Park. This one is quite nice but, of course, NYC expensive. The immediate neighborhood is decidedly mixed but safe. It is near downtown Brooklyn (think Shake Shack!).... More

stayed there as part of family visit for two nights. not a lot of options in the part of brooklyn that we wanted to stay in but this hotel worked great. not big,not small. had 24x7 pod espresso machine in the lobby...liked that a lot. hotel staff showed calm under pressure---unhappy customer, full lobby.

Upon entering we had a Wow experience, stylish hotel, nice room,great bed and the connection to Manhattan is perfect. Glad that I booked the hotel as a SPG award. But.........
