Great location and very friendly, courteous staff! Our room was big, comfortable, and charming. Great breakfast in the morning with fresh fruit , two different quiches, breads, cereals, coffee, tea in a charming atmosphere. The hotel has authentic charm with modern facilities, the best of both worlds.

I would not want to stay anywhere else. The Marshall House itself is charming and their staff is wonderful. I can't speak for the breakfast as we ate out every morning. My 80+ year old mother and I LOVED everything about this hotel! Loved the restoration and history (Civil War hospital), loved the service, loved the breakfast, loved the beds, loved the lemonade, loved the location. Took two friends to The Marshall House on a special trip and was not in any way disappointed. Great hotel ,staff and facilities .Could,t get a better location or service. Don,t stay anywhere else in Savanna.It would be a mistake.

Fun staying in a known haunted hotel. Definitely heard some ghost and the hotel was a hospital during Civil War. Great wine and cheese hour (free) in lobby area every evening. We had a room with veranda overlooking Broughton St. Room was nice and clean very comfortable bed. The down side was the street noise. A lot of buses go by. We left a/c fan on and we were fine.
