If you want a place near U of Baltimore (midtown), this is a great choice! The neighborhood around it is "in transition"; but the hotel is very nice, great staff, interesting rooms. Continental breakfast is "just OK."

I stayed at the Brexton for a family reunion and graduation, so my first screen for the hotel was its location---near the University of Baltimore, Penn Station, Symphony Hall, the Mount Vernon neighborhood, and the free circulator bus. This is a safe neighborhood, although Baltimore does tend to change from block to block. Two blocks away, there's a couple of...

The wife and I went to Baltimore on vacation and ended up staying here at the Brexton. As far as location, it's within the Mount Vernon historic district, and a close walk to some of the nice places within the area. Some folks might think it's in a sketchy locale. I thought it was fine, granted, I'd be a little...

We loved the restoration of this beautiful building! The staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and bed very comfortable. Furniture itself was of lower quality than I expected, but overall acceptable. Shower pressure not so great, but what a beautiful bathroom! The area is a little seedy, but we walked around Saturday night with no trouble. We...

This is a great place to stay in baltimore. It is close to many tourist attractions and cultural venues. The rooms are in nicely decorated and very clean. The staff is very accomodating and friendly. When in Baltimore - this is the place to stay!!!
One night stay in a room that cost $270/night. Including taxes it was $311.85. Very nice room, just not sure it was worth the price. Very slow elevator, probably the slowest one I've ever taken between six floors. Continental breakfast was included, some cereal, yogurt, a few lame pastries. Shower was a plastic stall you'd see in a Motel 6...

Took a few days with my daughter to explore Baltimore. As soon as she spoke to Paul to make the reservation-we knew this was going to be a great place. The staff made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived. Free parking is a major PLUS! Hotel Brexton is on the Nation Historic Registry and has been lovingly...

We lucked-out with a Living Social deal for this wonderful hotel and just stayed over Easter weekend. Although the deal is 'subject to availablility', we had no problem getting a room with just booking the day before. Ebony welcomed us warmly and was able to offer us a choice of 2 rooms. We were thrilled with the 5th floor room...

From the time we walked into the hotel and until the time we left, we were always greeted with kind, helpful, and courteous staff. Everyone made us feel really welcomed and comfortable at the Hotel Brexton. They did a great job of renovating the hotel and making it a "cozy" atmosphere. Thank you so much for the bottle of wine....

This was my first trip to Baltimore, and my boyfriend and I purchased a Livingsocial deal to Hotel Brexton. The hotel is gorgeous, and so charming! From the spiral staircase to the unique floor layouts. When we checked in, we just wanted to stay in the room, rather than exploring the city! On future visits, we will definitely go back...
