We had a wonderful weekend getaway in Jacksonville and the hotel service was wonderful. From the bartender to the breakfast waitstaff everyone was wonderful. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. It was a great place to stay for our weekend in Florida.

Had to go with some friends to jax for the night.Check in was a breeze, hotel staff was courteous, and the bell-man made sure to help us get situated, even bringing a mini fridge and table for us to have dinner in the room.

This place is old and needs updating. I have never stayed at a Marriot that was so run down. Everything in this hotel is old and needs repaired, re-done and remodeled. The only good thing about this hotel is the location. It is easy to get to and close to most everything you would want to go to.
