My husband and I stayed two nights in the Kyoto room as part of a long weekend get away. It's a great location, near the FDR sites and the Culinary Institute and right across the road from Vanderbilt mansion where you can roam the beautiful grounds for free. As everyone else has said, Diane and Michelle are both very friendly... More

The Vanderbilt Mansion’s grounds are fabulous and all the more so because they are open to the public from sunrise to sunset, every day. One never tires of the view of the Hudson River from that vantage point. The gardens, which have all been restored and maintained solely by volunteers, are amazing. Thank you for your comments about The Kyoto... More

My daughter and I spent the weekend at the Journey Inn when I came into town for an event at Marist College. We had a wonderful mother/daughter weekend, and the highlight for both of us was our stay at the Journey Inn. The Inn is beautifully appointed with incredible attention to detail. Diane and Michele, the innkeepers, are warm and... More

More secrets and dreams are shared in The Roosevelt Room then any of our other rooms! It is a popular room with mother’s /daughter’s or friends to share. As one of our returning guests has said about that room….”we lie in our beds and talk and talk till one of us just drifts off to sleep”. Food is very important... More

My wife and I love staying at bed & breakfast inns. The Journey Inn is absolutely the most fantastic inn we have ever stayed at. Diane and Michelle are the most fantastic innkeepers. They make you feel like they have known you forever. The rooms are spectacular, we stayed in the Outback Room. Diane and Michelle are eager to please,... More

If we didn’t know better, you sound like one of our favorite aunts! Thank you for your kind words. The fun of staying at B& B’s is that they are as unique as the innkeeper’s themselves. Being in the hometown of The Culinary Institute of America keeps us on our toes and helps to inspire our breakfast menus, we are... More

It is always nice to hear that guests notice and appreciate the grounds. Our cleaning ladies work very hard to maintain the rooms, they will be very pleased to hear that you noticed their hard work. Thank you for taking the time to write your comments. We hope our paths will cross again. More

My husband and I have stayed at the Journey Inn many times and it has always been a wonderful experience. Diane and Michelle are outstanding innkeepers and they always make us feel welcome. The rooms are well appointed - they have truly thought of everything. Breakfast is delicious and they have great suggestions for lunch, dinner and things to do.... More

As the saying goes…new friends/guests are great but there is nothing like old friends/guests. It is always so wonderful to open our front door and see the both of you standing there! It just puts a big smile on our faces. Seeing “returning guests” is like rereading a good novel, we get to hear what you have been doing, the... More

The location is wonderful, right across the street from the Vanderbilt Estate and is a close drive to everything else in the area. The Inn is very clean and comfortable. The sisters were very friendly and informative. Breakfast was delicious.

We have traveled and stayed in many hotels over the years, but never thought of a B&B until our son gave us a two night stay at the Journey Inn. Our love of history took us to Hyde Park, but the stay became a really great experience thanks to the DiNapoli sisters. They are truly warm and welcoming, their Inn... More

My wife and I just got back from a wonderful weekend at the Journey Inn B&B. The B&B is perfectly located, directly across from the Vanderbilt Estate, but also about a 10 minute drive to the town of Rhinebeck or the CIA, in the opposite way. Even during a weekend in the low season (February), we never ran out of... More

I wish my stay at the Journey Inn could have been longer (and next time, it will be!). This B&B is comfortable, spotlessly clean, and conveniently located to the FDR Library and Vanderbilt mansion, and to the CIA, and the towns of Rhinebeck and Red Hook.
