Our vacation visit was over 48 hours to see 4 main attractions - Barnes, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rodin Museum and Independence Hall. Hotel was within easy walking distance from them all. Pricing relative to similar quality hotels was good. We unreservedly recommend.

The staff was VERY attentive and friendly - no complaints! Room was clean and spacious! View was of a parking garage, but that's ok. Convenient location to shops, restaurants. My only complaint is that it took over an hour to get our car from valet parking.

The Sofitel Philadelphia is definitely worth staying at, especially if you book early, to receive a generous discount on the room. It's in a central part of the city, walking distance to great coffee and food around Rittenhouse Square. It's also close to many attractions and shopping.
