We had a great stay here and definitely got a great value for the price. Location is excellent. Easy walk to Rittenhouse Square and also walkable (in good weather) to other attractions in the city. We walked to the Liberty Bell/ Independence Hall area. Also, the room had great amenities. We stayed in the Rittenhouse room, which has a nice,... More

La Reserve was the perfect place to stay when my wife had to endure 6 weeks of proton-beam radiation therapy for a brain tumor. The location was so convenient... a short taxi to UPenn hospital, and easy walking distance to restaurants, supermarkets, shopping and cultural attractions. Sherri and the staff were so kind and considerate, always taking care of everything.... More

LaReserve is about a mile from the Philadephia Convention Center and it is walkable or a short taxi ride (about $10). We stayed in the Grand Dame room and it was huge, nicely decorated, comfortable with a king bed and a large modern bathroom. The parlor was spacious where guests could relax with a grand piano that guests could play,... More

I've stayed at LaReserve twice in the last three months and have enjoyed both stays very much. It is a bargain for it's location (Central Philly - an easy 20 minute walk from the train station) and for comfort. If you are looking for a luxury hotel (TV in all rooms), you might want to look elsewhere, but if you... More

This was our second trip to La Reserve B&B in philly for my wife's B-day. The B&B is set in a great location in philly on 18th and Pine St. in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood. We were surprised to learn that we were being upgraded to a suite because they were painting the area near the room we were supposed... More

This place was beautiful! If you don't mind a few stairs to your room you are in for a serious treat! Affordable and huge rooms with a gorgeous front room, you can really feel how old this city is in a GOOD way! Breakfast was great, yogurt, pastries, coffee early (which I love) all I remember was that I had... More

My husband and I spent a night in the Hunt Room while visiting our daughter. It was lovely not to mention, huge! The stairway is a bit worn looking as was the bathroom but everything was clean. Breakfast was fine for us....we are not huge breakfast eaters. As long as we have coffee, juice and some good muffin/pastry, we are... More

We stayed twice at the B&B in December to get away from some work being done on our house just a few blocks away. We stayed in the Hunt Room and the Grand Dame both in the main house. There is only a continental breakfast in the morning during week days. The Hunt room was lovely; very roomy however I... More

My wife and I stayed at La Reserve after reading the rave reviews; the B & B we normally stay at was booked. Despite the convenient location in Center City, combined with the historic tree-lined neighborhood, there appeared to be something lacking within the Reserve that was not consistent with it's surroundings and positive reviews. Although our 2nd floor suite... More

I regret that your experience at La Reserve was not what you hoped for. I take my position at La Reserve whole-heartedly, and it disappoints me when we fail to meet a guest’s expectations. La Reserve is one of a few larger B&B’s in Center City, and because of its size, the traditional B&B atmosphere tends to seem somewhat like... More

We stayed at the b&b for 3 nights. As soon as we arrived the service was amazing - everything explained to us and showed to our room. Staff were happy to help with any questions and were very kind. The room was huge (rm 1) and loved the feel of the room, as it was on the lowest floor it... More
