Spectacular location...walk to phila art museums and city center. Rooms elegant and classic, marble, antique type furniture, great beds, flat screens.... wonderful fountain restaurant, bar and friendly staff. This hotel or the ritz are similar and both have top service, would stay at either when in center city. Four seasons is great and would give it a top rating...

Don't get me wrong the hotel was nice, just a little outdated and not as spectacular as I would have expected. The staff was helpful and the food was excellent at the Swann Restaurant, definitely order the Philly Cheesesteak Eggrolls.

The rooms here are old and need updating. As several reviewers have mentioned, the rooms are in need of an update and have a musty odor to them. However, the service is still excellent but don't know if it's worth the price tag to stay at this hotel.

Was here on a spur-of-the-moment trip to Philly. Booked through Amex and received a complimentary upgrade to a suite. The property needs a serious update, but the staff was extraordinarily friendly and knowledgeable. Room service was so-so, as was brunch in the restaurant (which may want to take notes from DC's brunch). Frankly, a little disappointed, overall.
