Solid value and great location. The exterior blends nicely with the alpine setting, with redwoods surrounding it...yet it is still in the middle of town, next to a plaza of dining and shops, as well as the gondola. Great beds.

The Westin Monache is a Gem. Shuttle service, great room, pool, across the street from Mammoth Village and Mammoth Resort Gondola, crazy good sushi at their Whitebark Restaurant. My girlfriend an I just felt welcome. Recommended to anyone headed to Mammoth to shred during the day and relax in the evening.

Misled through Expedia website that this hotel has free breakfast which in fact only turns out to be continental which by international standards is not acceptable. I was disappointed.

The staff at this hotel were helpful in local activities and the bonus of a free shuttle anywhere you would like to go was a bonus. the location is great and the rooms we a good size.
