I booked my reservation through Hotels.com November 3, 2011 for a 2 night stay June 29th to July 1st, 2012 as the 1st leg for our 7 day trip to Lake Tahoe this summer. I read the cancellation policy. Tthe way it was worded I thought changes after Jun 27th, 2012 was what I needed to worry about. April 1,... More

We arrived early and staff were very accommodating in finding us a room as we had flown straight in from Australia. The room was very clean and comfortable and the kitchen very well stocked. We had a brilliant 8 days here and would return in a heartbeat. Juniper Springs is not near restaurants or bars but we found the free... More

We recently spent a long weekend at Juniper Springs and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our one bedroom condo was reasonably sized and furnished. The unit was in good condition though clearly not new. The bed was comfortable, the sofa bed was not. The kitchen was adequately stocked and the bathroom was in decent condition, although the shower/bath could have used... More

Stayed at this hotel before. The rooms are nice. The sofa-bed is extremely uncomfortable, though. This time, though, we had to cancel the reservation since the roads that we needed to take to get from Yosemite Valley to Mammoth Lakes were closed due to snowfall. But unfortunately the hotel was entirely unwilling to help out and instead even said they... More

It is rare that the main north/south highway is closed for very long, even in the winter months. Given the fresh snow, I am guessing you were disappointed you didn’t come as well. I hope that you will give us another chance when planning any trips to Mammoth in the future. Please feel free to contact me directly at 760-924-1102... More

Arriving at juniper springs brought memories of a nighmarish experience at tamarack lodge..to my surprise, reception was accommodating and very polite. We were allow to go into our room early, and whe we found it too small we're allowed to go from room to room looking for the one that would best suit the family. Remember if u ask they... More

We are currently staying at the JS resort. There is an incredible amount of snow, so snowblowers and snow plows are going 24/7, yes at night. We are slope side and hear it through the night, yes this is to be expected at a ski resort so not a huge deal unless you have kids who can't sleep. Fortunately we... More

This was the second place we stayed at during our trip to Mammoth. The hotel is a very large complex with several different types of accommodations. We checked in at the large main building which is at the end of Meridian Blvd and can't be missed. Our room was situated in the large building behind the main building. To get... More

We got a room that is dirty, noisy and the whole Mammoth just look like a ghost town this year due to low snow. Hotel manager won't give us credit when we were told by front desk due to my wife illness to leave hotel early - plus there's no snow anyway. I called Amex for a charge back -... More

There aren't many ski-in ski-out options in Mammoth, and although this is close there is a short walk to/from the Eagle lift. The rooms are nice, well appointed, and well located, but there is a lack of attention to detail and signs of wear (dead batteries in remotes, using the wrong-colored caulking to repair bathtubs, tired furnishings, etc.). WiFi is... More
