The hotel has been newly remodeled. It is attractive and the staff are friendly. My bed was exceptionally comfortable. The downside was the rooftop restaurant. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms at a reasonable price. Close to a historic district and a lot of dining choices. I had a reservation problem (my fault) and they took care of it for me.

My stay during Hamvention week was great the staff couldn't have been nicer to work with, everything was pleasant. Robert the Banquet Manager was great, along with April took care of all my request. Will be returning in 2013 at Hamvention time. Remodel is almost complete and my room was well done.

Let's face it, this property is a dump. They're in the process of remodeling but even with the remodel the place looks tired and dingy. Paint and wallpaper don't make for a hotel remodel.
