The literature on the Cumberland Is. Inn & Suites describes the property/rooms as luxurious. Our suite room was not. Rate was $95. Microwave was rusting, refrigerator had rust on outside. There was a coupon in the room saver for 2 double beds, all they had avail. Was king suites & they let me use the coupon so I paid $59 instead of $99. The staff was extra nice & helpful. The room was clean & the breakfast was good. Will stay here again!

The room overall was fairly clean, and the bed was nice. The bathroom was clean, but the floors, some type of fake wood flooring, were dirty. This is a very nice hotel with some nice upgrades, i.e. laminated wood floors. Has a microwave and refrigerator, and a good breakfast included. Not fancy by any means, just a nice, clean, inexpensive room.

When looking for lodging near Cumberland Island, GA, I came across a very good deal on the Internet. It cost $200 for a 2-night stay, which also included round-trip for 2 on the ferry (you have to make separate reservations on the ferry and give them the code), and a $40 voucher for Borrell Creek restaurant (which was delicious!) right...
