Historic lodge has been renovated very nicely. Stunning location with nice rooms. We could take a bath with a view :-) Dining room in the hotel itself was VERY good. Only disadvantage was the friendliness of the receptionist but maybe she had a bad day.. As such, I certainly recommend this lodge.

The location of this lodge can't be beat- you are literally on the rim of Crater Lake. Stunningly rude service, very poor quality food, how is it possible to get steak so badly wrong? Ended up with getting food poisoning. They never even bothered to respond to my numerous complaints. Our recommendation - avoid the place.
