I woke up each morning to the sound of seagulls and the surf. In the evening I watched the sun set on the Pacific from my room. The staff was uniformly outstanding and they have the best happy hour deal anywhere, including the excellent calamari appetizer. Take a morning run on the beachside promenade.
this hotel was well placed for, surfing, or shopping, the best of both worlds! room was spacious and well laid out and had a great view of the sea and the surfers. good value for money.
I was lucky enough to spend my 40th birthday at the Crowne Plaza at the beach in Ventura. I got a great deal on Hotwire for this hotel, which was almost 1/2 the price of their original rate. I stayed for business for 1 week. The receptionists were pleasant, they have a bar with good happy hour and nice outdoor patio, too. Their restaurant is one of my favorites in Ventura. I recommend it!
