This 1924 hotel has a stunning lobby. Please don't let that fool you. The hallways of this hotel reek of chlorine to the point that I was forced to close my nose. There was an enormous amount of paint peeling in our room. Even the tub needed to be redone because all the paint was peeling off it. The air... More

Beautiful lobby, the room is okay, the bed is comfy, the bathroom is very small and old, no coffee maker, I will not stay here again, there are plenty of hotels in NYC with better price and more updated, people in the front desk are not too friendly, arrogant!!

Bathroom needs to be modernized but room is great size and location. Rooftop bar was great - highly recommend a visit to the roof!

I just spent 3 nights at the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City as a birthday gift to my daughter. I checked out the reviews on Trip Advisor before I booked the hotel and the reviews were some good and some bad but when I looked at the location I thought it would be a good choice. From a couple... Stayed here for 4 nights in early May. The hotel is in a very good location, but the hotel itself is very Dated. The room we had was small and a bit cramped. The bed was comfortable, but didn't look great. The shower looked awful, but was functional, the bath had been repainted and was in need of resurfacing again.... More

This is our 3rd trip to the Roosevelt Hotel over 10 years and each time it gets better. We were so surprised to see the gentleman who had checked us in the past 2 times was still there after 13 years and remembered us. It is hard to feel special in a big hotel but we did. We had a... More

My wife and I recently spent a week at the Roosevelt. We made our reservations through Royal Holiday Club. We had a one bedroom suite, which was huge for two people. There were two bathrooms, the larger with a separate walk in shower and bathtub. The beds and linens were comfortable. Furniture and closet space were sparse, and it would... More

We arrived here after a long trip around the US and to be honest I would have rather been on the plane going home... However, once I walked through the doors of this hotel, I was perked up. The decor and the ambiance hark back to a time prohibition and and Al Capone, the bell hops looked as if they... More

My husband and I recently stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is in a great location, close to all major sightseeing destinations and very close to Grand Central so getting around is very easy. The hotel lobby is beautiful and the rooms are clean and quiet for New York City. The rooms are small but so is everything in... More

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in May. It is a beautiful hotel from the 1930's and just the type of place we were looking to stay at for our trip. It is in a great central location and was perfect for the sites we wanted to see. Since this is an old hotel, the bathrooms are small but... More
