We stayed there for one night only, on our trip to Bermuda, but we would gladly come back some other time. Clean room, nice decor...and very friendly and helpful staff. Nice location, too, close to almost everything, within walking distance of what we wanted to see that afternoon and night anyway. Macy´s, Top of the Rock...all in the vicinity.

The Marcel at Gramercy just did not deliver the true 4-Star experience that I paid for. I think my title says it all. I was there and it was a great spot, but I paid $600/night which was insane. The staff were very helpful, they were nice and sent us in the right direction and recognised us by face and voice, which was cool. The showers are lame though. They have the south east Asia thing... We booked standard room for six nights, the room was tiny and the air condition was noisy as we reported the front desk about it they have done great efforts to improve our stay and upgraded us for a small amount. We now have great room with nice view.

Nice room, reasonable size for New York and modern/neutral decor. Staff helpful, and in a good location, close to three subway lines, shops on 5th avenue, restaurants on 3rd Avenuw and Madison Square Park. Mohammed (doorman) is very helpful
