We stayed here for 9 nights in 2008 and it was ideal for our needs. It was my first trip to NY and the hubby had only been once before. All we really wanted was somewhere to crash after our days of sight seeing and this was perfect. En suite was fine. Room was cleaned and tidied daily if we... More

This was my first stay in NYC. I chose the Murray Hill Inn because it was a decent price and the location was close to everything - quick walk to the subway, and Grand Central Station, Empire State Building and Times Square were also within easy walking distance. The location was probably the best part about the hotel, along with... More

I stayed here in Dic 2008. I remembered from this hotel is that it was in a good location but everything else was below my expectations. We stayed in a room on the ground floor. The room's heating system was very noisy and we didn't have one night of good sleep. If you are looking for a place where to... More

The hotel was not a nice hotel. Dingy feeling, small and cramped. Was a fiasco. DONT STAY HERE unless you absolutely have to.

The corridors accessing the room were frighteningly narrow. The room was quite small with bare floors that amplified sound. From the room above a baby bawled most of the night while the heat pipes rattled. The location of the hotel is good but not the best. There is a parking garage right around the corner which is convenient and WiFi... More

I booked this hotel online from Australia as I really wanted to make sure we had a private bath. I was promised a Queen bed with bath and a street view. The value was excellent for the location - walking distance to everything in central Manhattan. We arrived late at night from a train and were given a room on... More

The room was just ok, but I already expected that reading other costumers reviews. The location was excelent, thats why i´ve choosed the hotel, 2 block from the subway and approvimately 4 blocks from Empire State. The staff was friendly and the room was clean enough. There was no minibar at the hotel, so i couldn´t drink my Corona before... More

This boutique hotel was great for the location. The rooms aren't massive, but when you're in NY you just need a place to sleep, so its definitely sufficient. There was no problem with cleanliness, and in the rooms were warm. I found the service was good, the staff were helpful. I will say the internet was a little expensive, but... More

I actually ended up being quite suprise when I got to Murray Hill Inn (after reading about certain things here at TA). We didn't pay especially much for this stay and I/we were very pleased with the hotel. We stayed here for 5 nights and ended up in a quite small room. Ok, we had HUGE luggage and couldn't open... I decided to surprise my boyfriend with a trip to New York. neither of us had ever been and were both really interested in going. Since I was paying for the while thing I needed to do it on a budget, this place had any reviews. Some were good, some bad but I went for it bc the price and... More
