Stayed here for 4 nights in May and have no complaints just a few observations. We had a room 1407, which was small with little storage space, but we managed. The bathroom was large and updated with nice marble tile. Room 1407 should be avoided and any other rooms that back on to the elevator, as they are very noisy.... More

As first time visitors to New York we chose the Renaissance 57 based on location - on 57th street and just a couple of blocks to 5th Avenue this cant be beat. This turned out to be a moot point as transportation is so easy across the city. The rooms are tiny and lacking some of the basic things you would... More

We stayed in this hotel for our 5 year anniversary. We were told we were being upgraded to a larger room, complimentary. If this room was an upgrade, I'd hate to see the original one. There was a door to a terrace, however, they used our terrace to store their function equipment, so we couldn't even open the door more... More

I recently stayed at the Renaissance last week. As other reviewers have noted the staff at this property is outstanding. I was at the hotel for 4 days, ate at the restaurant and concierge lounge. Every person I came into contact with was unfailingly pleasant and helpful. It was great. The reason for my three stars is the room and... More

The front desk staff and bell staff were wonderful. The first room that I was given did not fit my needs, and the night manager personally took care of my request and moved me. The management staff takes great pains to be available to guests. The hotel, however, is a little tired, and room that I moved from had a... More

We booked our room through Priceline but still paid a pretty good bit for our room. The room was small, and we had a room with such noise from the elevator that we asked to be moved. We were told that they were booked for the night and would move us the next day. They did and our room was much... More

Booked this hotel blind on Priceline and was concerned until we arrived . From the moment we entered to the moment we checked out this hotel surpassed our expectations. The standard king bed room was fine. Rooftop lounge has an incredible view of the Chrysler Building. The staff are freindly, outgoing & helpfull. Location is very good. They also offer... More

We used our Marriott points for a 2 night stay. Ok so the room/sleeping area was small it is NYC! The bath was big and clean. The view was very nice we could see Bloomingdales lite up at night. Our room was clean and ready to check in at 1:30pm! Staff was warm and thoughtful! We could not have asked... More

Normally stay at a nearby Marriott, but waited too long to book on a busy weekend. I'm glad I found this place. Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are modern and not large, but very comfortable. I like the style. Was still able to fit a roll away in the room. If you like dressers to put your clothes... More
