Just around the corner from Madison Sq Gardens, and Penn Station. Few blocks walk from Times Sq. This hostel was good value for money, near to subways, and many shops and food places. The rooms are basic with two or three metal bunk beds per room, bathrooms were small but very clean for a hostel. One downside is that there... More

This hostel is realy great. Beside its perfect location the people there were friendly and helpful and I liked the breakfast there as much as "free pizza thursday" - a great way to get in touch with others! If you bring your own Laptop you can enjoy free internet - but there are also two computers you can use. The... More

I have stayed in Manhatan in April. The price for the rooms was quite expensive for such small rooms 3-4m2, small bathrooms 2 m2.... There was a problem because a hostel was shutdown due the fire safety reason. And that is why we have to search new place to stay after 3 nights. (we booked 4) Managment of hotel didn't... More

it was just not up to scratch, before leaving i read the reviews on here and i thought i would be okay but i was mistaken greatly. when we arrived we had to lug our suitcases up the tiny staircases to our rooms, we opened the door and a waft of heat came out in our faces, we walked in... More

I cant say nothing bad for this hostel. Good location easy to get to Maddison Garden, Post Office. Good food, quity scanty, but fresh! Good dorms, but a bit old. Beautiful view from the roof. I will recomend this hostel for whose who has just 2 nights in New york and does not expect something special.

I have just got back from a 5 night stay in the Manhattan Inn Hostel. I went with 40 others as part of a univercity trip to New York. I had never stayed in a hostel before so wasnt sure what to expect, but was pleasently suprised. I only had one flight of stairs to get my suitcase up, which... More

Great traveling alone I highly recommend to do some time NYC alone, visiting all you want and you can take your time. Personally what I liked the most was taking all my time staying on museums wich is what i liked the most, also relaxing and listening music on Central PArk, walking all around by my self was great but... Upon arrival we immediately had to mount a couple of small stairs with our luggage (everyone does, there are no rooms on the ground floor and no elevator). The rooms are men/women/ mixed. Our supposedly all female room has a guy in it which was a surprise. The male rooms contained up to 6 beds and had some weird 70+... More

Hello! Unfortunately most hostels do not have an elevator but the staff is always willing to give a helping hand in carrying luggage up the stairs. Also we do have luggage storage in the lobby. Typically bags fit very nicely under the beds as well. We do not have any full-time residents in the hostel. Our policy is that you... More

Great value, but the rooms are far too hot. Reception said there was nothing they could do about it: it seems heat is either on or off! Reception seemed to be manned by students. I and many of the group we took came back with nasty bites from bed mites. Breakfast was ok - at least there's a Subway over... More

Hello, We have AC in the summer months when it is unbearably hot but we take them out in the fall when the weather tends to be a bit colder. If you thought you had been bitten by something in your room you should have let the staff know so we could investigate. We tend to not have problems with... More
