Spent 5 miserable nites here with only consolation being its near my daughter's school, NYU East Village. Its a great pity as the location is gd. Wont be back again, On my return trip, stayed in Bedford Hotel & love it! Will return to Bedford!

Great location by subway, restaurants, NYU, shops etc. Rooms are so much larger than normal NYC hotel and have a little kitchen in them , which is a great bonus. Bathrooms are the biggest problem. Pros: Location is excellent. Next to Washington Square park. Close to subway. Clean. Comfortable. If you stay longer, there is a kitchen with all necessary appliances and stuff. Beautiful window view. The reception people (different guys) are neat and friendly. Cons: Expensive!
