“NYC aint the centre of the world, but Sofitel is in the centre of NYC”

Great location and central to much of Manhattan. Great staff, great style and great decor. Clean with the best beds and linens hotels have to offer. Food and beverage is on par for a NYC quality hotel, but that doesn't make it cheap.

This hotel is very pleasant to stay in NYC. Well located in midtown close to 5th avenue, nice rooms and suites and most of all very friendly staff always ready to help. Definitely a good choice in this area.

Not sure what was happening in midtown May 15-17, but hotel prices were outrageous. Normally, I wouldn't stay here (too expensive for my travel budget), but it was actually priced right compared to all the other hotels I looked at. Stayed 5 nights in late April. The hotel in perfectly located for shopping, shows, museums and dining. We stayed in a Jr. Suite which was spacious and nicely appointed with Hermes toiletries.
