I was advised to have a look at this B&B by a Trip Advisor Destination Expert and I am glad I did. We had a great stay here in April. The staff and owners were lovely and up for a chat at breakfast time (thanks for the waffles!) and our room (Batby) was a great size, well equipped and I... More

My wife and I stayed at The Canal Park Inn while I was in NYC for a two-day meeting. We drove to the city and arriving at the Inn around 5:30 PM can be difficult since Canal Street leads to the entrance of the Holland Tunnel. Suggestion ... pull around the corner on to Greenwich Street. It's easier to park,... More

Thank you so much for your warm regard and lovely compliments to us. We'd love to see you both again on your next visit! One accuracy correction: the plates aren't styrofoam but actually environmentally-friendly bamboo plates. We make every effort to be green here, so while the plates are disposable, they are also compostable, as are all our forks, spoons,... More

We stayed in the Batby Suite and thought it was terrific. The suite was spacious, with 2 double beds and a cot in a small room, as well as an outdoor patio. We appreciated having a fridge and coffee maker, although there are so many good restaurants in NYC that we didn't use the full kitchen as much as we... More

Took my granddaughter to visit NYU (She will be attending in the fall) It was her first trip to NYC. The hosts of Canal Park Inn were lovely and welcoming. The room was small but adequate. We felt quite safe and had nearby subway access. Many sights are walkable if weather is good. Location is perfect but noisy. Guess I... More

My husband and I and our 13-year old granddaughter stayed here for five days during spring break this year. We wanted a place where we could all be together and have space to sit and relax after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. The photos we looked at led us to believe the Batby Suite was larger than it... More

We are so sorry and surprised that you were disappointed in the size of your suite and encountered cleanliness issues! Our policy is to clean duvets between guest stays, so I'm not quite sure how your duvet was not fresh. However please know that you can always tell our staff about a situation like that- we want your stay to... More

Came here with my wife to get more acquainted with the burrough of Manhattan. The location of this Bed and Breakfast is the best you can ask for. A stone's throw from the pier in the Hudson River. Within 2 miles of Ground Zero, a mile from Little Italy and a $20 taxi ride to Central Park and 5th ave.... More

In November 2011, my wife and I spent a week in NYC for our honeymoon and stayed in the Batby Suite at the Canal Park Inn, a family run B&B in Tribeca. What a great little B&B! To start, it's a great location right next to the Holland tunnel. If you take a shuttle from the airport, you will likely... More

we stayed as couple in november 2011 on a vacation-trip to NYC. the "suites" have a unique charming ambience to them - you could almost call those rooms antique - i liked it, my girlfriend less so - its not everybodys cup of tea. Sinnot suite we stayed in features a narrow kitchenette with coffee-making machine + tiny couch/TV-area, the... More

We found this inn through iloveinns.com. My husband and I stayed in the Sinnot room. The bed was VERY comfortable. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated and had a small kitchen (no stove/oven but with all the restaurants in NYC, no need to ever cook). It was really nice to have a small fridge to put drinks in.... More

We are a family of two adults and two grown up children who stayed at The Canal Park Inn during Christmas. We were more than satisfied with the place. Great location, very nice, big and clean apartments and very quiet even though it is situated very close to everything and furthermore there was a very nice and helpful staff. Our... More
